Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is the premier leadership training in the country and can be taken as part of your college curriculum without any commitment owed to the Army. 事实上, credits can be used to achieve a minor in leadership which is valued by businesses throughout the country. As a student at Indiana State University, learning to become a leader will improve your college experience and prepare you for your future -- whatever it may hold.

军队参加后备役军官训练军团 is an elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes. It gives you the tools, training and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. Along with great leadership training, 军队参加后备役军官训练军团 can pay for your college tuition. Because 军队参加后备役军官训练军团 is an elective, you can participate your freshman and sophomore years without any obligation to join the Army. You will have a normal college student experience like everyone else on campus.  If you continue to pursue a contract, when you graduate from ISU you will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army.  You will have an array of interest areas you can specialize in called branches.
