John Boyd Concert 乐队邀请赛 - April 2

的 John Boyd Concert 乐队邀请赛 provides an opportunity for musical growth in a non-competitive atmosphere. 的 invited ensembles will spend the day on the beautiful 澳门合法赌场官网 campus, perform for a knowledgeable audience, and receive recorded and written feedback from our 音乐学院 faculty and special guests. Each ensemble will receive a clinic shortly after arriving to campus to assess big picture concepts to focus on throughout the day. 跟随诊所, students will take part in sectionals led by the applied faculty of the ISU 音乐学院. 的se sectionals will focus on concepts addressed in the clinic, as well as excerpts from their band music. 跟着他们的分组赛, students will be provided lunch, an 澳门合法赌场官网 campus tour, 大学招生信息, and a commemorative group photo. During the lunch and campus tour, band directors will receive feedback from members of the Sycamore Band Department and guest clinician. Dr. 埃里克•斯科特 Appointed Director of Bands

Dr. Scott holds a Doctorate in Wind Conducting from Northwestern University, a Master’s in Wind Conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and a Bachelor of 音乐 Education from Middle Tennessee State University. For the past two years he has been the 参观 Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Southern Mississippi and, 以前, spent a decade as a public school teacher in the greater Nashville area.
